About Us

The Jingle Bell Jam Tournament (JBJ) is a Mountain Brook based basketball tournament for boys and girls, ages 2nd – 6th grades.  The tournament is generally open to all over the mountain communities, but sometimes will include teams from other areas of the State.  The tournament is run by a group of grade commissioners, and raises money exclusively for charity.  The Jingle Bell Jam is a non-profit 501(c)(3) entity, so donations to the Jingle Bell Jam are generally tax deductible.

Yearly, the JBJ raises money for charities, including the following:

  1. Cornerstone School
  2. Avondale Methodist Church
  3. Exceptional Foundation
  4. Mountain Brook Junior High
  5. Cage Club
  6. Jimmie Hale Mission

The JBJ will run from December 16-19, 2021 in Mountain Brook.  There will be a 3 game minimum for the tournament, and it will cost $375 per registered team. Please pay via venmo to : @jbjhoops and specify grade and team paying for.  Registration will take place starting October 1, 2021, and close November 30, 2021.
